No. But thanks for asking.
Meet Tango5 (Trish) the woman of my dreams. She is the mother of our children,
and the love of my life. She is the voice of reason, the arbiter of equity and a damn good shot. Tango5 is a
security mom who loves to drive around in an ENORMOUS SUV (troop transport size). She consumes red meat and
wears real fur. I dare you to throw a cup of red paint on her mink coat. I double dare you. She raised a
150 lb rottweiler from a pup. He obeys even her simple gestures. So do I.
A wingnut is someone who fears the presence of a defensive tool and is generally a person
of cowardice who does not elect to engage in self-defense. But yes, we are NRA members. We also
belong to the GOA, JPFO, FOAC and AAA. As AAA members, we are intelligent enough to realize
that cars do not cause motor vehicle deaths. As NRA members, we are intelligent enough to
realize that while it is a privilege to drive, it is a right to arm yourself for self-defense.
Guns aren't bad. Gun-haters are bad for America.
No. But we are stating an obvious fact. Those who abuse are incapable of behaving rationally.
Those who abuse don't understand hugs and kind words wispered as sweet nothings. Those who
abuse will only stop abusing when they fear for their own well-being. If restraining orders and
domestic violence laws actually worked, there would be no recidivist domesic violence.
The "T5" in the lower left corner of the YCB logo stands for "Tango 5"; the woman in the logo.
Certainly. We are members of the gun culture. We like people who enjoy the shooting
sports. We don't particularly care for people who trade their right to self-preservation
for a false sense of security. Guns save lives. Guns prevent bad people from hurting
good people. This is why many police departments carry and become proficient with firearms.
This is also why millions of law-abiding citizens also carry and become proficient with firearms.
During 2003, 24% of all violent crime incidents were committed by an armed offender;
7% by an offender with a firearm.1
That means, 76% of violent crimes were committed by an unarmed assailant. A whopping
93% of violent crimes were committed without a firearm.
Three out of every four violent crimes committed in the United States in 2003
were accomplished without a weapon of any kind.
So, it's not about gun violence. It's about violence. We live in a grown
up world with bad people. Most bad people fear strong women
who are not afraid to defend themselves. Bad people are comprised of those who abuse
and those who enable abuse by working to convince women that knowing how to handle a
gun safely will be of no viable use to them.

How can you possibly think that arming a woman will make her more safe?
"TMK", a Charlotte, N.C., man with a record of some 30 offenses committed over eight years,
picked the wrong target for what would be his last crime. "TMK" broke into an East Charlotte
apartment about 2:30 a.m. Resident "JHO", awake and armed, pointed a gun at "TMK" and
fired at least three times, according to Charlottte-Mecklenberg police. "TMK" was taken to
a local hospital where he later died.
